Job summary

art’otel Amsterdam is seeking a Food and Beverage Management Intern to gain hands-on experience in a bold, design-led hotel setting where art and hospitality converge.

You will work with the F&B leadership team across outlets, lead by example on the floor, assist in coordinating restaurant, bar, breakfast, and event operations, and help drive promotions while building guest relations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management, or related study programme.
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
• Passion for food, drinks, and guest experience.
• Proactive, organised, and eager to learn in a dynamic and creative environment.
• Availability for an internship of at least 5 months.
• Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Support the Food and Beverage leadership team in daily operations across all outlets.
• Lead by example on the floor, ensuring engaging and high-quality guest experiences.
• Assist in coordinating restaurant, bar, breakfast, and event operations.
• Support activations and events within ARCA Restaurant and Bar and the art’otel gallery.
• Drive commercial performance by supporting upselling and promotional activities.
• Monitor service quality and ensure brand standards are consistently delivered.
• Support team communication, shift organisation, and operational flow.
• Assist with training and coaching team members.
• Engage with guests, creating memorable and personalised experiences.
• Take ownership of projects that enhance performance and guest satisfaction.
