Job summary

Another Star seeks a proactive F&B coordinator intern to support the global F&B team from its citizenM hotels in the Netherlands. You will assist in guest satisfaction projects, quality standards, and data analyses while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Be part of an energetic, collaborative team with hybrid work in Leiden and travel within the EU. Start date is January or February 2027 for a six-month-plus duration.

Qualifications

• Student enrolled at university for entire duration of the internship.
• Available for five or more months, Jan/Feb 2027 start preferred.
• Fluent in English; additional languages welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Learn F&B operations and support global F&B team on projects.
• Assist in guest satisfaction initiatives and quality standards.
• Analyze data and create Power BI insights for decisions.
• Support hotel visits, training, and roll-out of projects.
• Plan and assist internal training sessions with teams.
• Contribute ideas to improve F&B quality across hotels.

Job description

For the F&B coordinator - internship role, Another Star is looking for an energetic, genuine and passionate citizen willing to join our Food and Beverage team in the Netherlands for an exciting internship opportunity.

The selected candidate will support Another Star's running operations at citizenM hotels by helping out in our Support Office on a range of topics. In short, the Food and Beverage Team is responsible for the strategic direction and the running of the F&B program in our citizenM hotels globally.

Key Responsibilities

• You will learn all about F&B at citizenM; supporting the global F&B team with a wide variety of projects around guest satisfaction, quality standards and trainings
• You will support work on our ePOS systems, learn how to make analyses that helps drive the business
• You will support the global F&B team with insights on performance using different powerBi dashboards and other tools to help drive our focus and decision making process
• Visit various hotels and help implement projects and train teams
• Expand your communication skills by planning and supporting internal training sessions
• Analyze and propose new ways to improve the quality of F&B in the hotels
• Use your creative talent to help come up with new ideas for our F&B program
• Maintain our ESG initiatives, helping to limit waste, reduce plastic and more
• Help safeguard the quality across our hotels through quality audits

Qualifications / skills

• Available for five or more months, preferred starting date = January or February 1st 2027
• A student enrolled at a university during the entire duration of the internship

Location and hours

• 3 days per week in the office or on-site (hotels)
• Monday to Friday, ideally 40 hours per week. Flexible schedule based on school schedule. Role based in Amsterdam / Leiden, will require travel across EU
