Job summary

Royal Van Lent in Amsterdam is looking for an Engineer Special Exterior to design and engineer the exterior elements of superyachts. You will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs and ensuring they are manufacturable and compliant with regulations. Collaborating with senior engineers, production, and project leads is crucial for timely and high-quality delivery.

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2-5 years of experience in shipbuilding are required. The role offers an advanced working environment with a maximum salary of €78,000 gross per year.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of work experience in engineering in shipbuilding.
• Good command of English, spoken and written.
• Knowledge of shipbuilding production and the construction process.
• Accurate by nature, with a high standard for quality and results.

Responsibilities

• Engineer detailed designs and 3D models for yacht exteriors.
• Ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing and assembly.
• Maintain compliance with Class and Flag regulations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project leads for timely delivery.
