Job summary

Felixx is seeking an ambitious strategic designer with at least 3 years of experience to join our international team in Rotterdam. You will engage in research, urban and regional development visions, and strategic masterplans, coordinating with clients and partners across Europe.

The role offers 32–40 hours per week, a potential permanent position, and a competitive salary aligned with the applicable CAO. You will work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment focused on sustainability.

Qualifications

• Graduated as a landscape architect, landscape designer, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills in English; basic knowledge of Dutch is advantageous.

Felixx is an international, award-winning landscape architecture firm dedicated to building a sustainable world. To continue growing, deepen our knowledge, and broaden our field of work, we are looking for an ambitious strategic designer with a minimum of 3 years of work experience.

About the role

As an experienced strategic designer at Felixx, you will work on a diverse range of projects: from research, urban and regional development visions, and strategic masterplans to design guides — both in the Netherlands and abroad. In this role, you will work within a compact team of designers, coordinate with clients, and collaborate with a wide range of partners. You will navigate smoothly between long-term trajectories and short, intensive processes.

Your profile

• graduated as a landscape architect, landscape designer, or equivalent;
• a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar role;
• an open, enthusiastic, and inquisitive work attitude;
• affinity for multidisciplinary collaboration within an international team;
• proficiency in Adobe Suite, Vectorworks or AutoCAD, and GIS;
• strong communication skills in English; a basic knowledge of Dutch is advantageous;
• available for at least 32 hours per week;
• preferably residing in the Rotterdam area.
