Karres en Brands, an international design firm, invites a Technical Designer for public space to join our landscape architecture team. You will work on a variety of design assignments, from concept to realization, bringing precision and a proactive approach to materials and methods.

Qualifications

• Degree in landscape architecture or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role on projects at different scales.
• Experience developing designs from vision to VO/DO/TO stages.
• Extensive knowledge of materials and proactive attitude toward new techniques.
• Good spatial insight and architectural thinking.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of design software.

Due to a growing number (international) projects, we are currently looking for an enthusiastic, precise, and experienced Technical Designer for public space to work in a team on a variety of design assignments in the field of landscape architecture and public space. You have 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, working on projects at different scales, from design through to realization.

What are we looking for?

• An enthusiastic and detail-oriented personality who can work both independently and as part of a team;
• A degree in landscape architecture or a related field;
• Experience in developing designs from vision stage to preliminary and detailed design (VO–DO/TO levels);
• Extensive knowledge of materials and a proactive, research-oriented attitude toward new techniques and materials;
• An enthusiastic and proactive personality who can work both independently and in a team;
• Good spatial insight and an architectural level of thinking;
• Strong computer skills, including solid knowledge of design software.
