Job summary

Europol is seeking an Agent - Driver for the Close Protection Team to support the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Directors. The role involves driving, fleet management, and related administrative tasks within the EU framework and on missions abroad.

You will operate within a two-shift system on weekdays, with standby on weekends/public holidays, and require confidentiality and a high level of professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience as an executive driver.
• Experience in maintaining vehicles.
• Experience using navigation systems.
• Experience in fleet management activities including procurement, technical specs, offers, and liaising with providers.
• EU driving license category B with clean record.
• Experience operating armoured vehicles and knowledge of medical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Directors within the host country and on missions abroad.
• Meet and drive VIPs and Europol guests.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain up-to-date trip documents and records.
• Carry out minor preventative maintenance on vehicles as needed.
• Coordinate with internal systems for approvals and deployment of duty cars.
• Liaise with local authorities and service providers for vehicle access and documentation.
• Conduct advance reconnaissance for venues hosting high-level meetings.
