Job summary

Organon Oss is seeking an experienced Integrated Production Team (IPT) leader to align site operations with global strategies and drive high performance. You will guide diverse disciplines, oversee Nexplanon and NuvaRing production, and manage IPT budgets and investments.

You will lead a large team, champion safety and quality, and partner with Centres of Excellence to deliver compliant, reliable supply for customers while pursuing continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Purpose

To manage the Integrated Production Team (IPT) effectively, ensuring alignment with overall procedures and guidelines, and collaborating closely with Centres of Excellence (CoEs). IPT responsibility for a billion-dollar brand Nexplanon.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment Divisional Liaison: Align OMS Oss with Organon strategies as a member of the Site Leadership Team. Represent IPT both internally and externally, leveraging expertise to influence decisions. Provide leadership and direction for Organon Oss activities.

Leadership Impact Visionary Leadership: Set a clear vision for the IPT, inspiring and motivating the team to achieve high performance and excellence. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, accountability, and a commitment to the company’s values and goals.

Strategic Influence: Influence strategic decisions at the site and divisional levels through expert knowledge and leadership. Act as a key advisor to the Plant Manager and Site Leadership Team, providing insights and recommendations for strategic initiatives. Lead and manage multiple disciplines, including external manufacturing, supply chain management (SCM), and commercial (IFPSD). Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and strategic alignment.

Planning and Budgeting Strategy Translation: Convert OMS site strategies into actionable IPT profit plans, including capital investments. Ensure effective budget management and required reporting in line with long-term OMS strategies. Collaborate with CoE TechOps & F&E for capital investments, ensuring authorization by the Site Leadership Team and CRC.

Operational Management Execution: Implement IPT profit plans, manage IPT processes, and monitor progress. Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure operational efficiency and take corrective actions as needed. Oversee the production of high-profile products, ensuring adherence to qualitative and quantitative guidelines. Lead the IPT for Nexplanon and NuvaRing, managing 300 people and 30+ in Technical Operations. Responsibility for the production of 24 mil implants annually and 8 mil rings.

Improvement Initiatives Process Enhancement: Initiate, prioritize, and manage improvement initiatives for all IPT processes. Collaborate with CoEs to enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness. Collaborate with supply chain and our commercial teams in order to safeguard compliant and reliable supply to our private and institutional customers.

Safety and Quality Compliance Regulatory Adherence: Ensure IPT processes comply with all relevant regulations, including safety standards. Address compliance issues promptly and inform relevant parties. Maintain alignment with internal and external compliance regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Foster a culture of quality and safety first within the IPT, ensuring all team members are trained and adhere to our standards and bring up suggestions for improvement. Conduct regular quality and safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks. Ensure that all quality and safety incidents are reported, investigated, and corrective & preventive actions are implemented.

Project Management Portfolio Management: Determine and manage the IPT project portfolio. Steer and participate in projects, ensuring alignment with authorized project frameworks and objectives. Achieve predefined project objectives through effective project management.

Information Management: Produce periodic and ad hoc reports on IPT developments. Provide quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform OMS management and stakeholders. Enable OMS management to determine or adjust policies based on accurate management information. Implement corrective & preventive actions to address process inefficiencies.

People Management Team Development: Recruit, retain, and develop employees. Execute training programs and manage performance activities. Directly and indirectly manage over 250 employees, including Associate Directors and technical operations staff. Ensure the team for Nuvaring is well-staffed and empowered.

Change Management: Lead the IPT through periods of change, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations. Communicate effectively with the team, providing clarity and direction during times of change. Implement change management strategies to support team adaptation and resilience.

Proactive Problem Solving Complex Problem Identification: Proactively identify and solve complex problems that have significant impact on the company. Utilize analytical skills and industry knowledge to foresee potential issues before they arise.

Qualifications

Education:Academic/Master’s degree.
