Job summary

BYD Europe BV in Hoofddorp seeks a Commercial Vehicle After‑Sales Training Specialist to develop and deliver technical training programs for customers, service partners, and internal teams. Focus will be on diagnostics, maintenance, repair procedures, service manuals, and practical applications.

You will conduct in‑person and virtual sessions, collaborate with engineering and customer support, and create digital training materials, demonstrations and assessments to ensure learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial vehicle after‑sales service or technical training.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical circuits, diagnostics tools, and component‑level troubleshooting.
• Excellent presentation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with training tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel both domestically and in EU.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training modules for commercial vehicles, focusing on diagnostics, maintenance, repair procedures, service manuals, and practical applications.
• Provide clear explanations to end users including service engineers and dealership personnel.
• Conduct in‑person and virtual training sessions for service technicians and after‑sales teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, product development, and customer support to keep content up to date.
• Deliver hands‑on demonstrations, simulations, and assessments to ensure learning outcomes.
• Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance analysis.
