Job summary

Autel Energy – The Hague, Netherlands, is seeking a Solution Engineer to provide pre-sales technical support and design EV charging solutions. The role spans discovery, sizing, and coordination with Product Management and R&D to validate feasibility, with international collaboration across teams.

The candidate will translate complex requirements into practical charging solutions, support demonstrations and workshops, and contribute to documentation and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics, Energy Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Required 3+ years of relevant experience in solution engineering, pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, application engineering, or another customer-facing technical role.
• Experience in EV charging, energy, electrical infrastructure, automotive, mobility, renewable energy, or a related industry is preferred.
• Experience working with international customers, partners, or cross-functional technical teams is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation and pre-sales support to customers, distributors, service partners, and internal sales teams.
• Lead technical discovery discussions to understand customer use cases, site conditions, operational requirements, and integration needs.
• Respond to technical questions, requests for information, and solution-related sections of tenders or customer proposals.
• Support product demonstrations, technical workshops, customer meetings, and industry events.
