Job summary

Zerova Technologies in Amsterdam serves as the EMEA HQ for innovative EV charging solutions. We seek a Field Application Engineer to manage service topics, handle on-site commissioning, and troubleshoot our charger fleet across the EMEA region.

You will be the customer contact, coordinate with Customer Service, report incidents, and assist with quick resolutions while maintaining SLAs. Fluent German and English, strong charger knowledge, and D365/remote tools are essential.

Qualifications

Presentable and professional appearance when representing the company or meeting customers on-site or in the office.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
Strong technical understanding of charger products and related systems.
Proficient in using a computer, including SSH terminals, Anydesk, Teraterm/MobaX, updating software and log reading.
Advantage: Electrical safety training or certification (LV/HV etc.).

Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to customer communications regarding charger faults or operational anomalies.
Ensure initial acknowledgment within 1–2 working days of a customer inquiry.
Track each reported issue through to resolution in D365.
Maintain collaboration with Customer Service to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
Provide weekly reports on open issues and top resolved issues.
Define and update SLAs with customers.
Oversee warranty and spares fulfillment and inventory control.
Collaborate with third-party installers and EMEA BDMs to support operations.
Create and manage support cases in D365 and ensure resolution.
Coordinate shipping/logistics of spare parts with Operations.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for LV/HV environments.
Assist installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems operating on 230V AC and 3-phase power.
Conduct on-site evaluations with strict electrical safety protocols.
