Job summary

Lucid Motors in Amsterdam is seeking a European Payroll Specialist to support accurate and compliant payroll across multiple European countries. You will report to the European Payroll Lead and collaborate with HR, Finance, external payroll providers, and employees to ensure timely payroll processing and a positive employee experience.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of European payroll experience, knowledge of local payroll legislation, strong Excel skills, and excellent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience with European payroll processes
• Knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, or employment regulations in Europe
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll process for multiple European countries, ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution
• Gather, validate, maintain, and upload payroll data (new hires, terminations, changes, bonuses, deductions)
• Review payroll reports, reconcile results, resolve discrepancies
• Maintain payroll records, calendars, checklists, and process documentation
• Assist with compliance with local payroll legislation, tax regs, regulatory reports, audits
• Liaise with external providers and HR/Finance/Benefits teams to address queries and issues
• Prepare payroll reconciliations, reports, and month-end activities
• Participate in payroll projects, system implementations, upgrades, testing, and expansions
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and controls
