Patagonia is seeking a Credit Controller to support the Credit Manager in managing accounts receivable, reducing aged debt and improving cash flow. Primary markets are Germany and Austria, with the expectation to assist other European markets as needed.

You will build relationships with customers and the sales team to monitor payment plans and resolve issues affecting payments and deliveries. You will manage the European portfolio, handle daily banking and invoicing tasks, and work in a hybrid

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in Credit Control or in a similar accounting/finance role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• Fluent in English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
• High adaptability across Europe and different cultures.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent communication skills.
• Tech savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• International/European experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership and manage the portfolio for Germany and Austria; support other markets in Europe.
• Contact customers by phone and email to monitor payment plans and due dates.
• Manage daily blocked orders and apply multicurrency bank receipts.
• Oversee the reminder and recovery process for wholesale accounts receivable; liaise with collection agency.
• Analyze credit worthiness for new and existing wholesale accounts in liaison with wholesale sales.
• Prepare Direct Debit files for bank review.
• Send invoices and credit notes daily.
