Job summary

Pentair Winterswijk is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Commercial Water to drive European growth of the XRW wastewater solutions. You will develop markets, expand distributor networks, and build partner relationships across municipalities, water utilities, and industrial customers.

The role requires international B2B sales experience, strong negotiation skills, and willingness to travel. You will collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Product Management to deliver value and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience in international B2B sales within a technical environment
• Experience in business development, market development, and/or building distributor networks is an advantage
• Affinity with pumps, water technology, or the wastewater market
• You are skilled at building, activating, and commercially developing distributors and other partners
• You identify commercial opportunities, develop new markets, and translate these into concrete sales activities and results
• You are commercially driven and entrepreneurial, with strong communication and negotiation skills
• You build sustainable relationships with distributors, end users, and other market stakeholders with ease
• You work independently and take initiative, while actively collaborating with colleagues and partners
• In addition to Dutch, a good command of English is important. German or French is an advantage
• You are willing to travel internationally on a regular basis

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth plans for your assigned region.
• Build and expand a European distributor network.
• Support, train, and commercially develop distributors.
• Generate demand among end users, municipalities, water authorities, and industrial customers.
• Build a strong sales pipeline and achieve sales and order intake targets.
• Organize customer visits, product demonstrations, seminars, and technical presentations.
• Monitor market developments and translate them into commercial actions.
• Advise customers and partners on the technical and economic benefits of XRW solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to translate market feedback into product improvements.
• Maintain and update CRM, customer, and market information and prepare commercial reports.
