Job summary

AbbVie in Europe seeks an Associate Director, Regulatory Policy & Intelligence to shape regulatory strategy across EU member states and align with AbbVie portfolio priorities. You will lead regional topics, assess policy developments, and influence internal policy positions in concert with RPI and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• Policy experience in life science environment is required.
• Experience with regulatory policy and intelligence in the pharmaceutical industry or at a health authority.
• Ability to assimilate regulatory trends and communicate impact to internal stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages and leads regional topics in the regulatory policy and intelligence function.
• Analyzes proposed policies with emphasis on communicating impact of trends.
• Leads formation of corporate positions to share with trade associations.
• Prepares and presents complex written and oral reports to Senior Management and external audiences.

Education

Degrees in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Relevant Master’s degree or PhD in a scientific, health, legal, or business discipline preferred.
