Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Europe Regulatory Policy & Intelligence to lead regional policy initiatives and coordinate cross-functional responses with RA and portfolio teams.

You will analyze regulatory trends, develop positions, and engage with industry trade associations across Europe. The role requires strong policy experience in life sciences, excellent communication, and a established network across European regulatory bodies and trade groups.

Qualifications

• Regulatory policy and intelligence expertise in life sciences.
• Experience with trade associations or health authorities.
• Exceptional communication to translate data into insights.
• Ability to influence internally and externally in a matrix environment.
• Well-established regulatory network across European countries.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional topics in regulatory policy and intelligence.
• Analyze proposed policies and communicate their impact clearly.
• Present complex topics to Senior Management and external audiences.
• Negotiate policy issues when needed and anticipate consequences.
• Engage with regulators, peers, and trade associations to gather insights.
• Contribute to regulatory product development strategy and information requests.
• Coordinate cross-functional responses to HA consultations.
