Job summary

AFB International, based in Oss, Netherlands, seeks an Operations Controller - Europe to drive profitable growth across the European region. This role partners with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain to forecast, analyze, and improve margins and performance.

You will lead monthly reporting, contribute to budgeting, and enhance processes and internal controls across Europe, collaborating with global teams and ERP systems such as IFS and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Admin or related field.
• Master’s degree in Finance and Control preferred.
• At least five years in financial controlling, FP&A or related finance role.
• Experience in international, matrixed organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement to analyze and forecast performance.
• Monitor margins, productivity, costs, headcount and other drivers.
• Lead monthly margin reporting and variance analysis.
• Improve systems, dashboards, and internal controls (Power BI, IFS).
• Support investment assessment, capital budgets, and ERP master data.
• Collaborate across European and global finance teams to standardize reporting.
