Job summary

Worklane GmbH is seeking an experienced Lead Infrastructure Operations to oversee European infrastructure platforms, driving performance, standardization, and improvements. You will lead a small team, coordinate with stakeholders and partners, and ensure secure, reliable services across regions.

The role requires strong technical expertise in servers, virtualization, storage, and operating systems, plus leadership and supplier management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure operations.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of server, virtualization, storage, and operating system technologies.
• Experience working in complex, multi-site environments.
• Strong communication, supplier management, and organizational skills.
• Proactive mindset and passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Infrastructure Operations team across Europe.
• Ensure stable and secure operations of server, virtualization, storage, and operating system environments.
• Define and drive the infrastructure operations strategy, standards, and governance framework.
• Manage suppliers and service providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee incident, problem, change, capacity, and lifecycle management activities.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement across multiple business units and sites.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and risk management requirements.
• Collaborate with business, IT, and cybersecurity stakeholders on infrastructure priorities and roadmaps.
