Job summary

Epson Europe B.V. is seeking a Cloud Operations Lead to guide a high-performing team in a modern hybrid IT environment.

You will own the stability, security, and performance of cloud and on-premises infrastructure, drive operational excellence, and partner with stakeholders and vendors. You will lead incident and change management, design IaC with Terraform and Azure Bicep/ARM, manage Azure Landing Zones, and ensure cost efficiency while maintaining SLAs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required or advantageous.
Strong experience managing cloud and on-premises infrastructure operations in medium to large-scale environments.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, virtual machines, storage, networking, and monitoring.
Hands-on experience with VMware environments supporting on-premises workloads.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and operational support.
Experience with Jira for ticket management and GitHub for documentation, scripting, and automation.
Familiarity with Entra ID, Active Directory, RBAC, and secure authentication methods.
Experience with patching, backup, disaster recovery, and on-call incident response.
Understanding of hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration initiatives.
Experience with monitoring platforms, dashboards, and automation tools.
Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or Azure Bicep/ARM for IaC.
Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and/or Azure Backup in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and coordinate the Cloud Operations team.
Oversee incident, problem, and service request management and ensure SLAs.
Drive automation initiatives using PowerShell, Bash, Python, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and Azure Bicep/ARM.
Manage Azure Landing Zones, subscriptions, governance, and security controls.
Lead workload migrations from on-premises to Azure and monitor health and capacity.
Collaborate with Delivery, Security, Applications, and Service Desk teams.
Maintain runbooks, governance, and change management processes.
Own backup, recovery, DR planning, testing, and continuity activities.
Coordinate vendor and partner delivery and ensure service performance against SLAs.
