Job summary

Kraft Heinz, Inc. in Amsterdam seeks a senior procurement leader to own and optimize a portfolio of external manufacturing partners across Europe, driving supply performance, service continuity and continuous improvement.

You will lead the external manufacturing team, develop strategies, negotiate contracts, manage risks and costs, and collaborate with senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Operations, R&D and Marketing to enable sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering or related fields.
• 9+ years of progressive experience in procurement, FMCG or external manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Excel, data analytics and procurement systems (Ariba, SAP).

Responsibilities

• Portfolio ownership: lead and optimize external manufacturing partners across Europe to ensure performance and continuity.
• Team leadership: manage and develop the external manufacturing team, building capability and performance.
• Strategic sourcing: develop and execute procurement strategies that support growth, value, and resilience.
• Contract negotiation: lead outsourcing evaluations and long-term partnership agreements.
• Risk management: identify and mitigate quality, technical and business risks; implement corrective actions.
• Financial planning: oversee cost management to support topline growth, productivity and innovation.
• Process excellence: drive continuous improvement in external supply governance and structures.
• Stakeholder engagement: influence senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Ops, R&D, Marketing, Quality and Procurement.
