Job summary

Acadia Pharmaceuticals seeks a seasoned EU Supply Chain Leader to translate global strategy into regional plans for Europe, ensuring supply continuity and compliant product movement. You will coordinate with EU commercial, quality, finance, manufacturing, distribution, and external partners to drive growth and operational excellence.

The role requires 10+ years in pharma supply chain, leadership experience, and strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management, with leadership experience.
• Experience building and executing supply chain systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cultures and functions.
• Extensive knowledge of EU pharmaceutical regulations and supply chain best practices.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (planning, logistics, distribution).
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical and computer skills; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong negotiating and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage change in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to travel 15% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Translate global supply chain strategy into actionable regional EU plans.
• Ensure supply continuity and compliant product movement into EU markets.
• Oversee finished goods planning, execution, and delivery to 3PL partners.
• Lead EU S&OP process and contribute to global initiatives.
• Manage purchase orders, receipts, inventory movements, intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate VAT, Intrastat, customs, and country-specific reporting.
• Lead readiness for new country launches, SKUs, packaging changes, and market expansion.
• Build and scale EU supply chain capabilities to support growth.
• Ensure adherence to EU GDP guidelines and relevant regulations.
• Drive serialization compliance for international markets.
