Job summary

Attesa Coffee, a startup specializing in green coffee sourcing and distribution, is seeking an experienced Coffee Trader to join our European team. You’ll bring deep knowledge of the coffee market, strong negotiation skills, and a proven sales track record.

Based in the EU and authorized to work there, you will develop relationships with roasters, identify opportunities, coordinate with origin and logistics teams, and help curate a premium range of coffees for institutional clients and traders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in green coffee sales/trading in European markets.
• Strong consultative sales and relationship-building skills.
• Fluent English; one additional European language a plus.
• Based in the EU and authorized to work in the EU; travel required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with European coffee roasters.
• Identify new business opportunities in the European market.
• Collaborate with green beans roasters and customers across Europe.
• Liaise with quality assurance and origin teams to meet customer needs.
• Participate in coffee selection and curation to ensure high quality offerings.
• Represent the company at industry events and trade exhibitions across Europe.
• Sell coffee to roasters, traders, and institutional clients in key markets.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, pricing, and opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with logistics to ensure timely delivery and accurate orders.
• Prepare trade performance reports for management.
