Job summary

Douqué Coffee, a family-owned international coffee trading company based in Amstelveen, invites motivated students or recent graduates to join as Coffee Trade Finance Intern. You will work with the Finance team to learn how international coffee transactions are financed, managed, and reported, from purchase to delivery and payment.

The role offers hands-on experience in day-to-day financial activities, trade finance, and working capital management within a small team environment.

Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Interest in international trade, finance, commodities, and coffee.
• Analytical mindset with comfort handling numbers and financial data.
• Willingness to learn, take responsibility, and work independently in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Finance team in day-to-day activities.
• Process and check purchase and sales invoices.
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable and bank payments.
• Support cash flow, working capital management, and reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses.
• Handle trade documentation and related projects.
