Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an entry-level Immigration Assistant to support client cases, manage documentation, and coordinate appointments with authorities. The role involves assisting expatriates with registrations, drafting overviews, and maintaining digital case files in a fast-paced team.

The candidate should be keen to work with international clients, be highly organized, and comfortable communicating in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Entry-level opportunity; formal qualifications are not required
• Trainee or work experience in immigration or relocation is advantageous, but applications from candidates with no experience and an interest in immigration are welcomed
• Interest in working with international clients or expatriates

Responsibilities

• Assist the team with preparing multiple client cases and ensuring immigration application deadlines are met
• Advise clients on broader immigration queries
• Respond to client emails and calls, provide timely updates, and escalates issues internally
• Prepare and submit documentation, complete official forms, prepare detailed client overviews, and maintain digital case files
• Coordinate logistics, including booking appointments with authorities and supporting expatriates with registrations or bank setup
• Liaise with colleagues, partners, and external authorities to keep processes moving smoothly
• Track case progress, update statuses, and follow up on outstanding actions or approvals
• Identify opportunities to expand services, strengthen client relationships, and grow the client base through upselling or referrals
• Participate in team discussions and stay up to date with changes in immigration regulations
• Report to the Head of Immigration
• Support clients with work and residence permits for international employees and their families
