Responsibilities

  • Assisting the team with preparing multiple client cases, ensuring deadlines for immigration applications are met.
  • Advise clients on broader immigration queries.
  • Respond to client emails and calls, providing timely updates or escalating issues internally.
  • Prepare and submit documentation, including completing official forms, preparing detailed client overviews and maintaining digital case files.
  • Coordinate logistics such as booking appointments with authorities and supporting expatriates with registrations or bank setup.
  • Liaise with colleagues, partners, and external authorities to keep processes moving smoothly.
  • Track case progress, update statuses, and follow up on outstanding actions or approvals.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand services, strengthen client relationships, and contribute to growing the client base through upselling or referrals
  • Participate in team discussions and stay up to date with changes in immigration regulations.

Description

Our Immigration Consultancy team are a key operational team within our LIMES International business. Based in Leiden and working between 32-40 hours per week as part of the Immigration team, this is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start and develop a career in immigration and global mobility. The Junior Immigration Consultant assists with advising clients on immigration matters, particularly work and residence permits for international employees and their families, while managing cases from application through to completion.

The role requires balancing multiple deadlines, coordinating processes, and building and maintaining strong client relationships in a fast-paced environment. The Junior Immigration Consultant handles documentation, liaises with authorities, and supports expatriates with practical arrangements such as registrations and appointments.

Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English are essential, along with the ability to learn quickly, work independently, and stay up to date with immigration regulations.
