Mistral AI in Amsterdam is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to deploy GenAI use cases for enterprise clients and collaborate with researchers, engineers and product teams on complex projects.

You will work on fine-tuning, state-of-the-art LLM applications, and contribute to open-source codebases while engaging customers from pre-sales through implementation. Strong Python and PyTorch experience required.

Formación

• Fluent in English.
• 2+ years as a technical individual contributor on AI-based products with strong coding skills.
• Proven experience in AI/ML product implementation with APIs, back-end and front-end interfaces.
• Experience in Fine Tuning LLMs, tackling advanced RAG or agentic use cases.
• Deep understanding of concepts and algorithms underlying ML/LLMs.
• Strong Python coding skills.
• Excellent communication to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contributed to open-source projects in the space of LLMs.
• Experience as Customer Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer / Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect / Technical Product Manager.
• Experience with deep learning with PyTorch.
