Job summary

AXIS Career is seeking a skilled TIG Welder in the Netherlands to independently weld stainless steel piping and components. You will work from technical and 3D drawings, handling tubes 10–100 mm in diameter and walls 1–3 mm, with purging before welding.

The role requires precise measurement, assembly, and quality control in a two-shift environment. The ideal candidate has a TIG stainless steel qualification (EN 287) at Level 3/4 or Level 2 with relevant experience, plus ability to read drawings

Qualifications

• TIG stainless steel qualification at EN 287 Level 3/4 (or Level 2 with relevant experience).
• Experience welding stainless steel piping and components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and 3D drawings.
• Experience with purging stainless steel piping before welding.
• Able to read drawings and measure to ensure dimensions and alignment.

Job description

As a TIG Welder, you will independently work on high-quality stainless steel products. You will use technical and 3D drawings to create piping systems and components with great precision.Your work includes:

• TIG welding stainless steel piping and components
• Working from technical and 3D drawings
• Working with stainless steel tubing from 10 to 100 mm in diameter
• Working with wall thicknesses between 1 and 3 mm
• Purging piping systems before welding
• Assembling and tack welding tube and box-section constructions
• Ensuring accurate dimensions and alignment
• Inspecting your own work and maintaining high-quality standards
• Cutting pipe materials using a sawing machine

You will work in a two-shift schedule in a modern and professional working environment.

You are an experienced TIG Welder who enjoys precision work and takes pride in delivering quality. You can work independently, understand technical drawings, and know how important accuracy is when working with stainless steel.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A TIG Stainless Steel qualification at Level 3/4 (EN 287)
• Or Level 2 combined with relevant work experience
• Experience with TIG welding stainless steel piping and components
• Experience with purging stainless steel piping
• The ability to read and interpret technical and 3D drawings
• Experience assembling and tack welding tube and box-section constructions
• Experience with cutting pipe materials using a sawing machine is a plus
• Your own accommodation and transport
• The willingness to work in a two-shift schedule
• For non-Dutch-speaking candidates: proficiency in Dutch, English, or German at a minimum B1 level. Knowledge of Dutch is preferred.
