Job summary
AXIS Career is seeking a skilled TIG Welder in the Netherlands to independently weld stainless steel piping and components. You will work from technical and 3D drawings, handling tubes 10–100 mm in diameter and walls 1–3 mm, with purging before welding.
The role requires precise measurement, assembly, and quality control in a two-shift environment. The ideal candidate has a TIG stainless steel qualification (EN 287) at Level 3/4 or Level 2 with relevant experience, plus ability to read drawings
Qualifications
- TIG stainless steel qualification at EN 287 Level 3/4 (or Level 2 with relevant experience).
- Experience welding stainless steel piping and components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical and 3D drawings.
- Experience with purging stainless steel piping before welding.
- Able to read drawings and measure to ensure dimensions and alignment.
Responsibilities
- TIG weld stainless steel piping and components.
- Work from technical and 3D drawings.
- Prepare and purge piping systems before welding.
- Assemble and tack weld tube and box-section constructions.
- Cut pipe materials using a sawing machine.
- Ensure accurate dimensions and alignment.
- Inspect own work and maintain high-quality standards.
