Job summary

Start People zoekt een ervaren Industrial Blaster in Nederland voor oppervlaktebehandeling van metalen. Je bereidt oppervlakken voor conform kwaliteitsnormen en behandelt ze met grit/korund. Je past schoopeering toe en voert kwaliteitscontroles uit om aan klantverwachtingen te voldoen.

Je werkt in een 2-ploegensysteem van 40 uur per week, met 38 vrije dagen per jaar en wordt voorzien van werkkleding. Een tijdelijke aanstelling met kans op vaste aanstelling hoort erbij.

Qualifications

• Vereisten: goede beheersing van Nederlands en/ of Engels.

Responsibilities

• Voorbereiden van metalen oppervlakken volgens kwaliteitsnormen.
• Blasting: gebruik van grit/korund om oppervlakken te behandelen.
• Toepassen van schoopeering technieken ter bescherming tegen slijtage en corrosie.
• Kwaliteitscontrole van behandelde producten.
• Veilig werken en orde houden op de werkvloer.
• In nauw overleg met collega's productieprocessen veilig en efficiënt houden.

Wat je gaat doen

As an Industrial Blaster, you are responsible for preparing and treating metal surfaces. Your work helps ensure that metal products are properly protected and meet the required quality standards.

Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing: prepare metal surfaces according to the required quality standards;
• Blasting: operate the blasting equipment and work with grit-corundum to treat metal surfaces;
• Schoopeering: apply schoopeering techniques to protect products against wear and corrosion;
• Quality control: inspect treated products and perform quality checks to ensure they meet customer expectations;
• Working safely: follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean and organised workplace;
• Collaborating: work closely with your colleagues to keep the production process safe and efficient.

Functie-eisen

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Industrial Blaster who works accurately and takes pride in delivering quality work.

• Experience with metal preservation and grit-/corundum blasting;
• Knowledge of schoopeering techniques is a plus;
• Good command of Dutch and/or English;
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system;
• Experience operating an overhead crane is an advantage.
