Job summary

Jobster zoekt een ervaren CNC Milling Machinist voor een internationale productieomgeving in Breda. Je werkt aan complexe onderdelen op moderne 4- en 5-as machines en ondersteunt bij overgang van prototype naar productie.

Je werkt nauw samen met CNC-programmers en manufacturing engineers, beheert kwaliteit en levertijden, en neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor productie en veiligheid. Een vast contract en doorgroeimogelijkheden zijn aanwezig.

Qualifications

• Je hebt een mbo-niveau 3 of 4 qualification, bij voorkeur in Machining/Metalworking.
• Je kunt technische tekeningen lezen en interpreteren.
• Je hebt ervaring met CNC-bewerken.
• Je bent bereid en in staat om met verschillende CNC-machines te werken.

Responsibilities

• Voorbereiding en machine-instelling: tekeningen en opdrachten lezen en gereedschappen inrichten.
• CNC-bewerking: frezen op 4- en 5-assige machines met Siemens besturing.
• Kwaliteit en productie: eigen werk controleren, levertijden en standaarden bewaken.
• Organisatie en interne logistiek: teamcoördinatie en intern transport.
• Onderhoud en begeleiding: eerste-lijnsonderhoud en begeleiding van collega's.
• Continue verbetering: ideeën voor maakbaarheid en productie bespreken.
• Productontwikkeling: samenwerken met CNC-programmer en manufacturing engineer.

Job description

Wat je gaat doen

As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will be responsible for the entire production process at the CNC machine. You are able to work with at least three different CNC machines and work closely with the CNC Programmer and Manufacturing Engineer. You ensure that complex components are produced safely, efficiently and according to high quality standards. Your responsibilities include:

• Work preparation and machine setup: You read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, work orders and ISO programs. You set up the CNC machines and tools and ensure that materials and tools are correctly secured.
• CNC machining: You mill one-off parts, complex products and welded constructions using 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machines with Siemens control systems. You mainly work with stainless steel, but also with plastics, steel and other materials.
• Quality and production: You inspect your own work, monitor quality, delivery times and standard times, and ensure that orders are fully completed and components are finished according to the applicable standards.
• Organisation and internal transport: You participate in work meetings and daily start-up meetings, coordinate activities within the team and carry out the required internal transport using, for example, a forklift or overhead crane.
• Maintenance and guidance: You perform first-line maintenance and, where necessary, support and guide colleagues, employees and interns within the team.
• Continuous improvement: You contribute ideas regarding the manufacturability and producibility of products. In addition, you discuss the approach to activities and any potential issues with the Production Manager, Manufacturing Engineer and/or CNC Programmer.
• Product development: You work together with the CNC Programmer and Manufacturing Engineer on the transition from prototype to pilot series and ultimately to production release.

• Friday: 06:00–11:30 or 11:30–17:00.

• You have an MBO level 3 or 4 qualification, preferably in Machining/Metalworking;

The production site is easily accessible from, for example, Breda, Tilburg and Waalwijk.
