Job summary

SOURCE.ME is seeking a Team Lead for the Transactions domain. You will guide a team of eight engineers plus a Product Owner, taking ownership of a high-stakes subsystem within a growing European SaaS platform. Your role is to build the team, delegate effectively, and foster strong engineering practices.

You should have a solid software engineering background and proven leadership to coach people, manage conflicts, and scale the team as it evolves beyond firefighting to structured delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have a solid software engineering background and be comfortable working with senior engineers.
• Experience leading a team (four to five people or more) and delegating without dumping.
• Strong communication and people skills to spot and fix team issues before they escalate.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Transactions team of eight engineers and a Product Owner.
• Own one of the highest-stakes areas of the platform.
• Develop people, identify ready-for-more individuals, and balance workload.
• Make calls when opinions clash and keep conversations productive.
