Job summary

Adyen seeks a Head of Engineering for Financial Data Experience to ensure transparent, auditable data for merchants, regulators and Finance. You will define data models for payments, fees, payouts and corrections and craft customer-facing reconciliation experiences.

Lead a high-performing engineering team, hire top talent, and collaborate with Payments, Financial Products, Platform and Compliance to deliver scalable datasets, reports and dashboards for a trusted financial platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in engineering leadership roles.
• Experience hiring and managing a sizeable engineering organization (25–50 engineers).
• Literate in financial data: ledgers, cut-offs, corrections, restatement, FX, fee attribution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, able to translate complex concepts for tech and non-tech audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer-facing data model for money movement across merchants, regulators, and Adyen Finance.
• Oversee delivery of datasets, reports, files and dashboards with consistent terms.
• Build an environment that fosters continuous innovation and strong engineering culture.
• Lead and hire a high-performing engineering organization balancing scalability with cross-stream projects.
