You will mentor engineers, set architectural standards, partner with Product and Design, and drive reliable, production-ready platforms for millions of merchant interactions. This office-first role requires on-site collaboration in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Experience with modern backend/frontend frameworks and scalable architectures.
• Ability to translate complex needs into engineering roadmaps and deliverables.
• Strong ownership of code quality, testing, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional engineering team within the Customer Data Platform.
• Balance innovation with scalability to support millions of merchant interactions.
• Set architectural standards across merchant-facing UI and configuration platform.
• Partner with Product and Design to deliver high-impact features like reconciliation interfaces.
• Maintain production excellence, reliability, and accurate time estimates for complex projects.
