Job summary

Adyen is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Customer Data Platform in Amsterdam to lead a cross-functional team responsible for data surfaces, file generation, reporting framework, and reconciliation experiences used by merchants worldwide.

You will mentor engineers, set architectural standards across merchant UI and configuration platform, and partner with Product and Design to deliver high-impact features that improve reliability, performance, and merchant trust.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• 7+ years of hands-on software engineering, with backend/frontend exposure.
• Strong architectural design and scalable systems knowledge.
• Experience turning experiments into production-ready solutions.
• Customer-focused mindset and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to mentor, coach, and resolve conflicts with empathy.

Responsibilities
