Job summary
Rosenxt Creation Center GmbH seeks an Engineering Manager AI to lead its EU AI team of Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers. You will own line management, drive development goals, and foster a high-trust culture across multiple countries and time zones.
You will partner with the Head of AI on HR and organizational topics, influence architectural decisions, and ensure delivery quality through CI/CD practices. Fluency in German and English is required, Dutch is a plus.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in software engineering including AI/ML.
- 3+ years in a people leadership or team management role.
- Proven experience managing cross-disciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong coaching, feedback, and performance-management skills.
- Excellent communication across time zones, cultures, and boundaries.
- Fluent German and English; Dutch is a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a distributed EU AI team of Data Scientists and ML Engineers.
- Own line management, 1:1s, development goals and performance reviews.
- Foster high-trust culture across countries and time zones.
- Support delivery cadence, remove blockers, and uphold quality standards.
- Collaborate with Head of AI and leadership on HR and org topics.
- Represent the team in technical discussions and architectural decisions.
