Job summary

TWD is seeking an Engineer to design unique structural and mechanical installation tools for a wide range of on- and offshore construction projects in Rotterdam. You will translate client requests into functional designs and collaborate with project members.

Responsibilities include calculating, documenting load cases, and ensuring technical quality and timely delivery, while coordinating with drawings and project planning. A bachelor’s or master’s in a technical field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Sketch ideas and verify them with calculations (free-body diagrams).
• Set up and execute detailed calculations and reports: load case determination; hand calculations using Python with PyTWD; 1D/2D FEM.
• Maintain overview of the link between calculations and drawings; safeguard technical quality; ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
• Manage your own project deliverables to meet global project planning.
