Job summary

TWD is seeking a Naval Architect/Project Engineer in Rotterdam to deliver jack-up and naval projects from concept to completion. You will bring structure, clarity and direction to complex engineering challenges while coordinating stakeholders and ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.

You will work with a small team of specialists alongside one of the industry’s leading jack-up experts. The role emphasizes autonomy, initiative and collaboration on offshore wind and marine civil construction

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant working experience in shipbuilding or the offshore industry.
• Experience with ship structural design and verification (FEA) and floating stability.
• Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Technology or Offshore Technology strongly preferred; maritime experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients by understanding their challenges and translating them into practical engineering solutions.
• Set up and drive the project plan, ensuring structure, momentum, and clear milestones to fulfill the agreed timelines.
• Coordinate engineers and designers so decisions are clear and work stays consistent.
• Translate concepts and sketches into sound engineering calculations, reports, assessments and design solutions.
• Review engineering deliverables against TWD standards and client expectations.
• Act as the point of contact for technical questions after delivery, ensuring clear answers and consistent quality.
