Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Netherlands or Germany is seeking an Engineer, Remote Support to provide technical assistance to field engineers and product support personnel, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues in a hybrid model.

You will work on Logix controller, Powerflex and Kinetix systems and related products, with Dutch and English fluency required, and opportunities for knowledge sharing and career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering or computer science or information systems, or relevant experience with Rockwell Automation.
• Fluent English and Dutch language skills are mandatory for the role.
• Knowledge of industrial automation product range and software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal and external customers via phone and email.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software issues on Power and Control hardware, VFD, and motion systems.
• Create and publish knowledgebase articles.
• Deliver high-quality customer service from start to resolution.
• Support the Dutch-speaking portfolio of customers in a hybrid work model.
• Shift work Monday to Friday between 8–17.

Job Description As an Engineer, Remote Support you will provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging systems. You will be expected to respond to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. In this role, based either in Netherlands or Germany, you will report into a Team Leader, and you will support our Dutch speaking portfolio of customers. You will work hybrid.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to internal and external customers including end-user Operators, OEMs, Developers, System Administrators, Field Consultants, and Engineers.
• Team member of our Power and Control hardware VFD and motion team where you will work with leading Logix controller, Powerflex and Kinetix systems and related products.
• Create and publish knowledgebase articles.
• Provide exceptional customer service from start to resolution for each issue.
• In most cases, this support will be provided by phone and email.
• In this role work takes place on shift mode from Monday to Friday between 8-17.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems (other degrees considered based on relevance to the role) or experience with Rockwell Automation or similar hardware products.
• Fluent English and Dutch language skills are mandatory for the role.
• Knowledge of the product range and applications of industrial automation in connection with software solutions and IT systems.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Knowledge of PLCs.
• Windows and Office 365
• Knowledge of VMWare, (Windows Servers), Ethernet networking, HMI systems.

Based either in Netherlands or Germany, you will report into a Team Leader, and you will support our Dutch speaking portfolio of customers. You will work hybrid.

Rockwell Automation’s hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
