Job summary

Ampowr is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead our Energy Trading & Optimization product go-to-market. You will craft commercial propositions, own the sales process from prospecting to close, and represent Ampowr in the market while expanding into new European markets.

You bring a strong energy-market network and entrepreneurial drive to grow an international business from the Netherlands with a dynamic, startup-style team.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience in energy industry or relevant BD experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written Dutch.
• Hold a valid B-driving licence.
• Deep knowledge of energy markets, flexibility, balancing/ancillary services.
• Able to analyze simulation results and business cases.
• Follow market, technical, regulatory developments.
• Startup/scale-up experience with building from scratch (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build the commercial proposition and sharpen Ampowr's go-to-market for energy trading and optimization software.
• Drive new business by owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Shape market presence with pitch materials, presentations and thought leadership; represent Ampowr in the market.
• Accelerate international expansion by scaling from the Netherlands into new European markets and adapting to local dynamics.
