Job summary

TenneT zoekt een Energy System Policy Advisor die meewerkt aan corporate en system strategy. Je verzamelt en structureert informatie, levert inzichten voor besluitvorming en ondersteunt analyses en presentaties die de strategie van TenneT versterken.

In deze startersrol ontwikkel je jezelf, werk je samen met ervaren adviseurs en groei je door in kleinere onderwerpen terwijl je bijdraagt aan een betrouwbare energietransitie.

Qualifications

• Een afgeronde Mastergraad; affiniteit met de energiesector is een plus.
• Geen relevante werkervaring vereist; starterrol.
• Engels op niveau B2 of hoger, mondeling en schriftelijk.

Responsibilities

• Volgen en rapporteren van de voortgang van strategie-implementatie.
• Informatie uit de organisatie structureren en vertalen naar duidelijke inzichten.
• Ondersteunen bij analyses, presentaties en stuurdocumenten; verbinden met leiderschap.
• Jouw profiel & achtergrond: vertaling van ontwikkelingen zoals energietransitie naar inzichten voor TenneT.
• Voorbereiden van input voor nationale en Europese planning en systeemthema's.

Keeping the Netherlands powered, that is our mission. As an Energy System Policy Advisor, you help ensure that the electricity system remains secure, stable and future-proof.

In this challenging position you provide broad-based advice and recommendations on policies, standards and practices within their functional area to improve organisational performance and efficiency. Supports informed decision-making by delivering insights, solutions and best practices that align within the context of their functional area and the business unit(s) within their scope.

Jouw rol

You'll work across both sides of our team.

Corporate strategy

• Help track and report on the progress of TenneT's strategy execution across the yearly and five-year cycles
• Gather and structure information from across the business and turn it into clear insights for decision-making
• Support the preparation of analyses, presentations and steering documents and connect with leadership to embed our recommendations into the organisation

System strategy

• Translate external developments — the energy transition, decarbonisation, national and EU energy policy, market and system trends — into strategic insights for TenneT, and help carry TenneT's strategic positions back outwards
• Help prepare TenneT's input to national and European planning programmes and to system topics such as the position of industry, system integration and offshore grid development

You'll do this alongside experienced advisors and, over time, take ownership of your own smaller topics as you grow into the role.

What do we ask?

• A finalised Master's degree — no technical background required, but affinity with the energy sector is a plus
• No prior work experience needed; this is a starter role and we will help you develop
• English at level B2 or higher, verbal and in writing

We have a preference for Dutch speaking candidates, but it's not mandatory.

• A permanent contract with a two-month probation period, based on 40 hours per week.
• A salary in scale 8 with 8% holiday allowance and 6% end of year allowance
