Job summary

GIGA Storage is hiring an Energy Project Manager to own day-to-day implementation of battery storage projects across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. You will coordinate the onboarding of assets, ensure connectivity, and drive market readiness from contract to revenue-ready operation.

You will work with internal teams and external partners to translate plans into actions, manage schedules and risks, and maintain momentum until assets are market-ready.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in the energy sector.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Energy, Business, Economics, Technology, or related field.
• Solid understanding of electricity markets, including balancing markets.
• Experience coordinating projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Analytical and hands-on approach; able to break complex problems into steps.
• Technical affinity to discuss systems, data and connectivity, without being an IT specialist.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding of battery assets and coordinate with Energy Desk, Portfolio management, IT, Finance and Legal.
• Translate implementation plans into clear actions and establish RACI responsibilities.
• Maintain project schedules and risk registers; ensure actions are completed.
• Coordinate connectivity for partners to control and optimise batteries; drive alternatives when needed.
• Prepare assets for participation in balancing markets and ensure market qualifications and processes are ready.
