Job summary

Forexx Group is seeking a data-minded engineer to own the full measurement-to-results workflow within advanced inspection and metrology technology in the Netherlands. You will join a small, highly technical team working on complex measurement systems for demanding industrial applications, collaborating closely with optics, hardware and software specialists.

Qualifications

• Experience developing data analysis workflows in Python.
• Experience with scientific or numerical data.
• Ability to build repeatable data processing pipelines.
• Familiarity with NumPy/SciPy, PyTorch or JAX.
• Experience designing experiments or test cases to validate assumptions.
• Ability to work with complex systems combining software, hardware and physics.
• Strong communication of findings to technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end workflow from data acquisition to final analysis.
• Turn raw datasets into reliable, reproducible results.
• Translate customer requirements into measurement and process recipes.
• Build automated workflows for repeatable execution with minimal manual intervention.
• Perform rigorous data analysis and deeper investigations as needed.
• Design structured tests to improve performance.
• Collaborate with optics, hardware and software teams to drive iterations.
• Translate technical challenges into clear, repeatable test cases and solutions.
