Job summary

Ligentia is seeking a Freight Forwarder / Allround Expediteur to join the Rotterdam Service Delivery Ocean division. You will manage the complete lifecycle of international shipments, bridging customer service with hands-on logistics execution in a small, dynamic local team within a global network.

The role emphasizes end-to-end operational support across Ocean, Air, Road, and Warehousing, with responsibilities spanning bookings, pricing, documentation, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Understanding of Incoterms and general supply chain movements.
• Strong communication skills and client/partner engagement.
• Proficient in English; Dutch is a plus for regional ops.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Operational Support across Ocean, Air, Road, and Warehousing.
• Booking and Routing: manage cargo space bookings and coordinate transport.
• Pricing and Quotations: own cost evaluations for shipments.
• Customer & Agent Liaison: provide updates on cargo progress and costs.
• Documentation & Compliance: prepare and check international transport documents.
• Problem solving to handle delays, missing paperwork, or customs holds.
