Job summary

Ligentia in Rotterdam is seeking a Freight Forwarder / Allround Expediteur (Customer Service Operator) to join our Service Delivery Ocean division. You will manage the complete lifecycle of international shipments, bridging customer service with hands-on logistics execution in a close-knit local team.

Your role covers end-to-end operational support across Ocean, Air, Road transport and Warehousing, booking and routing, pricing, and liaison with customers and agents.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Good understanding of Incoterms and general supply chain movement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and partners.
• Proficiency with CargoWise and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Operational Support across Ocean, Air, Road and Warehousing.
• Booking & routing: manage cargo space bookings and coordinate transport with carriers and partners.
• Pricing & quotations: own pricing and cost evaluation for shipments.
• Customer & agent liaison: main contact for feedback on cargo progress and costs.
• Documentation & compliance: prepare Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, invoices and customs support.
• Problem solving: handle delays and paperwork issues to protect customer satisfaction.
