Mars in Oud-Beijerland is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment Manager to lead the site’s HSE performance, shaping a safe, healthy, and sustainable manufacturing environment. You will advise the Site Leadership Team and drive culture, compliance, and continuous improvement.

The role centers on Strategy, Compliance, Incident Management, and Stakeholder Engagement, with leadership over the HSE team and cross-functional pillars. Excellent Dutch and English required.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in Health, Safety, Environment, or Security within manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Solid understanding of Safety Pillar Management within TPM/MSE frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and Dutch regulations.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Proven ability to drive behavioral safety initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Experience with RCAs and corrective-action programs.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute site HSE strategies and targets.
• Lead the Safety Pillar and drive safety culture across the site.
• Ensure compliance with corporate safety standards and local regulations.
• Oversee incident investigations, learning and corrective actions.
• Monitor HSE metrics and report to site leadership and stakeholders.
