Job summary

Ranpak Automation is seeking a Spare Parts Engineer in the EMEA Service department to own the entire spare parts process from inquiry to shipment. You will combine technical understanding with administrative and customer service skills, preparing quotations, processing orders in SAP, and maintaining stock levels.

Qualifications

• MBO Level 4 or equivalent in a technical discipline.
• Technical background or strong technical affinity.
• Ability to read and understand 2D and 3D technical drawings.
• Experience selling, processing, or supporting technical spare parts is preferred.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-oriented and service-minded approach.
• Clear, professional communication with customers.
• Process-driven mindset with interest in improving workflows.
• Ability to work independently while contributing in a team.
• Good command of Dutch and English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for processing spare parts orders from customer request through to shipment.
• Prepare and issue spare parts quotations accurately and within timelines.
• Convert customer purchase orders into SAP and create order confirmations.
• Prepare completed orders for invoicing.
• Review and adjust pricing in line with Ranpak Automation policies.
• Proactively follow up on outstanding quotations and customer orders.
• Act as a direct point of contact for customers regarding spare parts requests and orders.
• Provide timely acknowledgements when inquiries and orders are received.
• Keep customers informed about order status, delivery dates, changes and delays.
• Own the shared spare parts inbox and ensure timely handling of requests.
• Review requirements and identify correct spare parts from technical information.
• Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings when required.
• Coordinate with Engineering when parts are not yet available or created in ERP.
• Support warranty assessments with Field Service and/or Management.
• Provide customers with technical guidance related to spare parts.
• Monitor spare parts availability and minimum stock levels based on demand.
• Identify shortages and take action; report stock discrepancies to Logistics.
• Ensure deliveries meet lead times and commercial requirements.
• Prepare weekly overviews of open quotations and orders with KPIs.
