Job summary

Under Armour EMEA is seeking a Lead Inventory Planning professional to join the Integrated Business Planning team in Amsterdam. You will own long- and short-term inventory plans, align with Channel, Demand Planning, Finance and Supply Chain, and drive efficiency in reporting and excess management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in inventory planning or related fields, ERP experience (SAP/Blue Yonder), advanced Excel and Tableau, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 5+ years of related experience in inventory planning and international business
• Experience with forecasting, buying and inventory planning and control processes
• ERP systems experience (SAP/Blue Yonder preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Tableau experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven negotiation and influencing skills
• Experience in wholesale footwear, apparel, or equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory on hand and inbound to support demand planning
• Develop inventory strategy for multiple warehouse locations
• Coordinate inventory projections with Planning, Finance and Supply Chain
• Create reporting and transparency on allocated and excess inventory
• Lead actions to control excess inventory and monthly meetings
• Collaborate with retail planning to manage excess and closeout needs
• Optimize warehouse capacity and manage airfreight budgets
• Analyze returns and cancellations to inform buy strategy
• Challenge contract volumes to reduce overall spend
• Promote and push sales of specific inventory with sales teams
