Job summary

ARC’TERYX is seeking a Director, Planning - EMEA to set the regional planning strategy and align B2B, Retail and eCommerce with growth and profitability objectives. You’ll own IBP, from long-range targets to inventory and merchandising planning, and lead cross-functional decision-making.

You will lead a high-performing regional planning organization, influence executive stakeholders, and drive adoption of advanced planning tools like o9, Blue Yonder, and Anaplan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; master’s degree preferred
• 10+ years in Retail Planning, Merchandise Planning, Inventory Planning, or Allocation with cross-channel leadership
• Deep expertise in Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP), Open-to-Buy (OTB), Demand Planning and Inventory Planning
• Strong financial acumen: revenue planning, gross margin, working capital, inventory productivity
• Advanced analytical and strategic planning capabilities
• Experience with planning tools such as o9, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Oracle
• Ability to drive tool adoption and optimization across a planning org
• Experience influencing executive stakeholders and presenting strategies to senior audiences
• Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams toward long-term strategic vision

Responsibilities

• Own the planning strategy for B2B, Retail and eCommerce across annual, seasonal and long-range plans
• Lead cross-functional planning decisions with Merchandising, Channel Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and Digital
• Balance DTC and Wholesale objectives to maximize enterprise value
• Establish regional inventory investment strategies and governance for productivity
• Own the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) operating model and governance
• Monitor planning performance metrics: forecast quality, inventory productivity, margin, service levels
• Drive adoption of advanced planning capabilities and automation
• Anticipate risks and develop mitigation plans to protect growth and profitability
• Build and develop a high-performing regional planning organization across functions
