Job summary

Innatera Nanosystems is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our Netherlands HQ, working at the intersection of embedded software and semiconductor development. You will design, implement, and test embedded software components and collaborate with hardware teams to optimize edge AI hardware.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering or computer science and 3+ years of C-based embedded software experience, with Git/Gitlab and HIL testing exposure.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in Embedded Software development with the C programming language.
• Experience with Version Control Systems, especially Git and Gitlab.
• Experience in HIL testing for embedded targets with a hardware debugger or other tools.
• Experience with requirements tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and test embedded software components (drivers and related systems).
• Debug complex issues in embedded systems using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and hardware debuggers.
• Plan software development activities, estimate effort, and ensure on-time delivery and quality.
• Provide consultation on development strategy and assess risks early.
• Develop requirements for embedded software and maintain tests for embedded software.
