Job summary

Innatera in the Netherlands is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our HQ. You will work at the intersection of embedded software and semiconductor development on neuromorphic processors for AI at the edge.

The role involves designing, implementing, and testing embedded software components, debugging complex issues, and planning development activities while collaborating across hardware and software teams.

Qualifications

MSc or BSc degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
3+ years of Embedded Software development with the C programming language.
Experience with Version Control Systems, especially Git and Gitlab.
Experience in HIL testing for embedded targets with a hardware debugger or other tools.
Experience with requirements tools.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, maintain, and test embedded software components (e.g. device drivers).
Debug complex issues in embedded systems using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and hardware debuggers.
Plan software development activities, break work into tasks, estimate effort, and ensure timely delivery.
Promote engineering best practices and assess risks and gaps early in development.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on requirements and design for embedded software.
