Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Site Engineer to coordinate construction and outfitting activities on a major energy infrastructure project. You will ensure safety, quality, technical compliance and effective coordination across multidisciplinary teams on the site in the Netherlands.

The role requires 4–6 years of site engineering or similar experience, strong electromechanical knowledge, and familiarity with Windchill. Dutch language skills are a strong advantage in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of site engineering, construction, supervision or project coordination experience.
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and construction activities.
• Familiarity with Windchill is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Construction Manager in day-to-day management and coordination of site activities.
• Act as the main point of contact between the site and engineering teams for technical queries, particularly in electromechanical areas.
• Coordinate and participate in inspections and follow up on technical and quality-related topics.
• Provide technical ownership for electromechanical issues encountered during construction and outfitting activities.
• Act as a technical reference point for site inspectors and ensure understanding of project and contractor documentation.
• Lead the follow-up of quality topics, including non-conformities and quality processes.
• Coordinate incoming inspection reports and ensure clear communication with the contractor and internal site teams.
• Review technical documentation submitted by contractors.
• Coordinate external vendors and stakeholders visiting the site.
• Support the Construction Manager in managing the site team and liaising with contractors and operational teams.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reports.
• Contribute to technical analyses and other project-related activities.
